Samarpan Charitable Trust

Samarpan Charitable Trust is a non-political welfare and development organization established in 2003. It is registered as a non-profit making society and volunteer organization for social development. This organization was established in 2003 with the keen interest of some likeminded social workers in Ranchi District of Jharkhand State. It is registered as a non-profit making society formed and governed by some enthusiastic, hardworking motivated with the ideology, who aspire for the dignified lives of the poor, marginalized and disadvantaged, destitute and the children through a sustainable and rights-based approach. During the last three decades, Samarpan Charitable Trust has been able to spread out the welfare and development activities in a number of villages, panchayats, blocks and districts of Jharkhand in India. The organization strives for excellence in equity and gender-balanced society, capacity building of poorest of the poor, marginalized and sufferer, socially excluded people and common people especially emphasizing children and youth. Our organization is governed and managed mainly by members who are dedicated, aware and committed to people, having strong beliefs and intention for lasting change of the poor and women, children and vulnerable people. They facilitate and support for developing leadership amongst women, youth and community-based organizations, encourage the participation of like-minded individuals and institutions in the initiatives and challenges. Programmes cover the rights of the women, livelihood, financial security and income generation, access to mainstream, employment and skill, pro-poor and child-friendly environment and education, health, nutrition and sanitation, institution building and empowerment.
